Below is a list of seven nutritious diet tips that could help women have that healthy, glowing and vibrant skin they all desire to have.

Nettles

The anti-inflammatory effect contained in nettles helps in calming the skin and improving skin conditions such as acne and eczema. Nettles also contain high levels of antioxidants making them extremely detoxifying and hence offers the body protection against over production of chemicals that damage proteins, fats and body DNA. Nettles therefore are essential for a healthy, glowing and vibrant skin.

Red Grapes

These contain natural antioxidants and chemicals that cure skin conditions such as eczema and acne. Red grapes also treat the effects of allergic reactions and hence are very essential to skin health and can lead to a healthy glowing skin.

Peppermint

Peppermint is well known for its healing and calming properties; it also aids in digestion and relieves the body from stress which has been associated with skin problems such as acne. It also treats headaches and therefore it is very important for the skin and can help one get that healthy glowing skin.

Nuts

Studies have shown that nuts particularly Brazil nuts and pumpkin seeds are good for the skin. These nuts contain minerals such as zinc, copper, calcium, manganese, iron, magnesium and potassium. These minerals are important to skin health and can help one achieve that healthy, glowing and vibrant skin.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes contain vitamin C which helps in production of collagen that helps to keep the skin firm. Tomatoes also contain a red pigment that is necessary for skin circulation. Therefore tomatoes are important to skin health and can lead to a healthy, glowing and vibrant skin.

Watercress

These leafy greens contain antioxidants and minerals such as manganese and potassium. Therefore watercress cleanses and nourishes the skin leaving it without any toxins and any excess fluids. Watercress is therefore essential to skin health and can lead to a healthy, glowing and vibrant skin.

Water

This is the cheapest and most effective way to a healthy skin. Drinking a lot of water, that is not less than eight glasses a day helps the body excrete toxins that may damage the skin when left to accumulate in the body. Drinking a lot of water also enables the brain to cope well with stress a factor that has been associated with skin problems. Water is therefore essential to skin health and can lead to a healthy glowing skin.
