You can access many ways to track what you take. Put it on paper or computer or you can also use diet tracking apps, journals or websites. That will enable you to enter periods you eat, the food you take, the size of the food and maybe how you feel when taking the food

Track the total amount of fats, the size of the food you intake, the protein content, the amount of fiber, the total carbohydrates. To get the net carbs, you can subtract the fiber content always in gram unit. You then record the info on a food journal or food tracking application. Do it for all the foods taken each day for your lifestyle fitness.

Some foods like the meat, fruits and vegetables do not have labels on them this means you will have to get a digital scale to weigh them up. For the macros amounts, you will need your apps or if you do not use them opt for a digital weigh scale that is advanced.

The Downsides of Food Tracking and Macros

With time, people can get tired and no longer make their recipes consistent or even fail to make entries.
